ASC Riders:
Auburn Ski Club offers a full snowboard competition program. The Riders programs train at Boreal and Alpine Meadows as a program that moves to where the training suits the needs of the individual athlete. This program accommodates entry level athletes to internationally competitive full time snowboarding athletes.
Athletes compete in events from the local USASA level, to the US Open, Revolution Tour, US Snowboarding Grand Prix and more. The training program is catered to your level of commitment from weekends only, to full time. Our Junior Snowboard teams’ training includes gate training, slope style, half pipe and freestyle riding. This team trains at Alpine Meadows, Boreal and Northstar. Technique and tactics are addressed in all disciplines. Competition focuses on USASA freestyle events.
Riders Program members can train gates with the Varsity Program at no additional cost. This program successfully sends athletes to the USASA Nationals in a variety of age classes. The Full Riders Team (8 years old and up) trains on Wednesday through Sunday. The Riders Weekend team trains only on weekends and holidays. The cost includes a full season pass at Boreal and Alpine Meadows.

Development:
Auburn Ski Club is dedicated to keeping athletes involved winter sports at all levels. Developing athletes at a younger age, building basic skills, and focusing on healthy philosophies ensure the commitment to this effort. Our Jr Riders Development Team trains primarily to build growth as a snowboarder and to introduce athletes to park and all-mountain. The Jr Riders develop skills through guided snowboarding and drill progression over 60% of the time on snow. Other time is spent in video analysis, park training, etc. The Jr Riders Team is also invited to specific training sessions after school, mid-week, throughout the season. This team trains Saturday and Sundays primarily at Boreal Mountain Resort.
Gift of Snowboarding:
The Gift of Skiing and Snowboarding Program is our entry level/introductory league. Taking athletes as young as 6 years old, this team focuses on the basics of snowboarding. You must be able to ride at this point, this is not a first-timers team. Gift of Snowboarding teams train once a week or once every week or every other week depending upon the level.
Varsity:
Your High School team can take advantage of some of the top professional coaches in the industry. This includes snowboarding and alpine skiing. The two programs include their respective days of training on-snow at Boreal or Alpine Meadows, or both. These programs include the season pass(es), coaching, gates, and lane fees.
